Alan Grubner ’98 promises to be playing as part of a great trio of musicians this Thursday night at Le Poisson Rouge at 8pm.

To get a taste of Alan’s awesomeness, check out his MySpace page

Le Poisson Rouge is at 158 Bleecker Street.

Oliver Caplan ’04 is a classical music composer, whose piece “For Pondering” will be performed by The Bronx Arts Ensemble Orchestra this coming weekend at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx. If you’ve never been to the Bronx, going to Van Cortland to listen to classical music (which will include Barber’s “Knoxville, Summer of 1915,” works by Latin composer Papo Vazquez, and music from South Pacific, Guys and Dolls, and West Side Story) is one of the better ways to make the acquaintance.
